As I'm sure some of you have probably seen, there seems to have been a small group looking to get the word out for a convention here in Calgary for pony stuff. Think BroNYcon, but like a 1/32nd that size. Darcy seems to be supportive of their idea and I can probably assume most of us will be too.
In any case, they're looking for support and awareness to get off the ground so tell your friends! Tell your not-friends! Tell everypony!

ReplyDeletethere really isnt any confermed date yet. it really is still up in the air as to when/what happens. the idea of haveing a brony con is only a few weeks old at best. just have to keep your eyes open.

ReplyDeleteoh man, this would be fantastic, I really wanna go to a Bronycon or any other Brony convention, but the chances of my folks going out of Calgary just to let me go to a Bronycon are really slim, there the type of people who are against me liking a show for meant for little girls -_-, and I can't go by myself because my folks are against that as well, so a Bronycon here in Calgary would be fantastic, its better then just going to Car shows everytime
ReplyDeleteim sorry to let you down, but the Calgary bony convention was canceled ages ago. this post was made back in 2012. i also do not see this becoming a thing in the future either due to lack of dedicated helpers.
Deleteit does not meant you could host your own. or even go and have a panel at a popular Calgary convention detailing pony's. ( my suggestion is either the Calgary comic book and entertainment expo, "CCEE" or Otafest.)
