so for a while now i have been unable to receive or send people email though my fetedinnercore email. seems like its broke.
so i wanted to let people know i changed my email to darcyblue3@gmail.com
that's about it.
also id like people also to know that if they have any form of special diet ( vegan, need gluten free foods, etc) that they should bring there own since last year i attempted to buy vegan hot dogs for the 2 folk i know who prefer that kind of thing and they where never touched. they supposedly where a poor choice of brand and tasted poor. ( i really don't know nothing about such things.)

woo BBQ!
Hey all so good news!
For those of you who've been with the group for a while know that every year we've had a group BBQ and everything is all lined up now for this year as well. First off my apologies, I do like to give more notice but it took a little longer to book things with many sites being closed due to flooding, but anyway...
This year the BBQ will be at Edworthy Park at picnic site 6, from 11-3pm on Sunday September 15th.
I'm going to be posting some more details about this later and put it on the blog. Also I would like some helpers to set things up so if you're interested in coming early let me know. Lastly it would be great if you would like to support this event, and future group events by donating to the group funds. Donations can be made to Darcy at the meetup this weekend and go to covering event costs and funding future ones :)
we need a headcount so we know just how many people are going this year. so please, if you could let us know beforehand if your coming so we can make arrangements to have the right amount of food for everyone.

flood news / meetup cancelation
Hey everypony.
So I have decided, even though I am not pleased with my own decision, to cancel this week's meet up ( June 29th) due to the recent flooding that occurred across town. With everything from public transit being absolute hell, to flooding/lack of electricity/gas etc.... It would be in the best interests of everypony to not show up that meet up night for safety reasons.
WE WILL CONTINUE ON OUR REGULAR MEET-UP'S ON JULY 13.
I'd also like to let people know that I will be taking regular donations, as well as donation for flood relief. All money for the flood relief will go to the red cross.
i hope everyone is warm, dry and safe.

My little pony, movie date, Recap.
That was a super fun movie date we had with a whole bunch of you! Over 20 people showed up to share the experience with us and what an experience it was.
We also appreciate the theater (and one staff member in particular), for giving us a little shout out. <3

MLP: Equestira Girls Movie Date
OK. So after asking you all at the meetup if you were interested in going to the MLP: Equestria Girls movie, almost everyone said yes, so that means we will be going on a field trip to the theater to watch it. My treat!
However due to limited funding, we can only take so many people. How many is unknown at this time, so it will be a first come, first served. To reserve your slot, just email us or leave a comment here and we will update accordingly. Below will be the list of people who will be attending as well as showtimes and the date.
We also need to know which time the group would prefer to go on. So when we say "yes, I'd like to go watch this movie about teenage girls in high school." please also leave us your time preference.

Geekmoot 3.0
Hi guys, we have some exciting news for you all.
First off, there's a new-ish convention on the north end of town called Geekmoot. This is their third year and they pander to videogamers, tabletoppers and card throwers alike. So you can get in your Mario Kart and Magic the Gathering fix on the same day. It takes place on July 27th at 2pm-midnight at Sunnyside Hillhurst Community Association. The website is here if you need more info.
I bring this up because not only does it sound like a neat place for the majority of us, but we've also been accepted for an artist alley table there. So ultra yay! We're hoping to have some new wares from different fandoms by the time it rolls around, such as League of Legends, Pokemon, Portal, BioShock and some other things I can't remember right at the moment.
Second, it's getting to be that time of year where we would like to take you all out to some fun thing outdoors. It's been suggested that we go bowling or laser tag or even the zoo again. But if the majority of you are alright with the idea, I'd like to take you to the MLP movie. Yes, you know the one I mean. And if you don't, the trailer is over here. We would be paying for anyone that wants to go and see its admission.. so even if you're iffy on the subject, at least it'll be free, right?
I'll be asking next meetup what everyone thinks and what they ultimately want to do, though.

Shop 'till You Drop, News and Whatnots

So, I do have a bit of news to mention to everyone.
First I'd like to say that we have finally gotten off our butts and made an online store! You should check it out. Buy a few things, give us some feedback, or maybe even give Ika some commissions!

In other news,
We all were hoping for an art table at OtaFest so we can sell our wares there. However, we were a tad late on sending in our vender form (we got it in and filled out in 5 minutes (ffs)) and we are placed on the "waiting list".
This means we do not technically have an art table just yet, although we're keeping our fingers crossed to get one. It's disappointing, but we're still trying.
And we also have the online store! So even if we don't get the table, we can still sell the stuff online.

There is also the Walk So Kids Can Talk event happening May 5th (sunday) at Eau Claire Market (north entrance)
Registration starts at 9:30 am and the walk begins at 11am, so if you're up for a brisk morning walk downtown, please make sure you:
1. Go on the website to register yourself. http://www.walksokidscantalk.ca/locations/calgary/
2. We have registered the team as Luna's Angels so click join a team and search that name.
3. You will have to put a sponser amount since this is an event to raise money for Kids Help Phone. (Although the amount can be whatever you wish.)
4. We have set the group amount to $100 and we would really like to make at least that much for the event. It does end up going to a good cause. (As far as I can tell the amount that you put under your name goes into the group pot, so don't worry too much about it.) Let's just try to get out there and do what we can.
That's it for now guys, we hope to see bright shining faces early on May 5th. If you have any other ideas for events and stuff for us to do outside of the meetups, please let us know!
